History 
In the early 1980's a handful of working women gathered informally for lunch about once a month, usually at the Yorktowne Hotel to share ideas. Before long, the group evolved into a true support system.

Over time, guests were often invited and the size of the group slowly grew. Informality finally yielded to formality and invitations were sent out to potential members.

Two decades of steady growth has brought membership to over 100 women. We believe that in the Women's Network of York, it is our concern for each other that links us together.
