Our vision is to inspire, engage and empower women in meeting
the challenges of our changing world.
The Women's Network of York is a women's organization that supports and celebrates
a diverse membership by providing ongoing opportunities for personal and professional
development.
We are proud to announce that in 2010, the New Beginnings scholarship fund was
established in conjuntion with Harrisburg Community College campus in York. This
scholarship is designed to help women who find themselves returning to school
at a later stage in life. Our organization is thrilled to be able to make a
difference in our women leaders of tomorrow!
WNY has been supporting the women of York, PA and surrounding counties for almost
30 years. Regular monthly meetings, featuring networking and information useful
to women who seek to have presence in their world.
In addition to monthly meetings, we also have special events each year such as
our springtime Wine Tasting and Networking event to raise funds to support community
programs like the YMCA GAPP Program for adolescent girls.
Many of our members either own, manage or are employed by local businesses; and
they are able to promote those businesses through various sponsorship and advertising
opportunities.
As a Member, you may take advantage of the special offers/discounts available
exclusively to WNY members in the WNY Marketplace. In fact, if you wish, you
may list your own company's offer and receive ongoing exposure on the WNY website.
When you attend WNY meetings, you are eligible for gifts and prizes through the
monthly Member of the Month program, for example.
WNY also seeks to partner with other organizations, such as the Chamber of Commerce,
to enhance your benefits as often as possible.
